Are we the right team to support your organization?
We do our best work when an organization can say ‘yes’ to the following four questions.

We lead with race and support longer-term, flexible processes that are working towards organizational transformation.

  • We lead with race.

We focus on race, systemic racism, racial equity, and racial justice. We support organizations that are ready to have a race-conscious lens. We work to address systems of white supremacy, settler colonialism, and anti-Blackness. We believe in Indigenous Intelligence. We support Black liberation. We talk openly about systemic power and the creation of racial groups: Native, Black, Asian, Latinx, Multiracial, and White.

You might think, ‘But do you address gender, sexual orientation, class, disability, etc.?’ Yes, as long as we lead with race. Otherwise, the conversation defaults to addressing the needs of White women, White LGBTQ+ folks, White working-class folks, and White people with disabilities.

  • We work long term.

Is your organization willing to engage in long-term racial equity work? We do not conduct ‘one and done’ workshops. We see our role as organizational coaches, guides, and thought partners. We want to work with organizations for at least a few months, sometimes even years. We want to support racially just systems change and not just mandatory training.

Our team is diverse in skill sets and will help you find new ways to work toward racial equity and justice.

Want to learn more about why we want to support your organization to engage in more than just training? Check out our blog post, We Can’t Train Our Way to Racial Equity.

  • We value slowing down & flexibility.

Racial equity work requires us to change, not continue in business-as-usual behaviors. We work best with organizations not tied to a specific scope of work and timeline. We want to engage with people willing to slow down and try new racially just approaches. We work with clients to find different methods and to coach them through changes.

  • We believe change is constant.

If racial equity conflicts with your current mission, are you willing to reassess your mission? We want to support work addressing the root causes of racism and transforming organizations.

We support people to change organizations. We support changes to organizational practices. We work to change the systems that live beyond the current people in the room. We want to move organizations beyond “managing Whiteness” to create pro-Native, pro-Black, pro-Asian, pro-Latinx, pro-communities of color organizations.
